We have been using Taxslayer since 2003. When George was deployed to Iraq, Helen found this site recommended by IRS.gov. We have been using it ever since. It's always free for us because George is still in the National Guard. We will continue with Taxslayer for many more years to come.

Just used TaxSlayer for the first time, after shelling out close to $100 to TurboTax every year. TaxSlayer was just as fast and easy, and offered more options to boot- for less than $20!!! I told all of my friends about it and they are excited to use it too!

It is easy, accurate, and to the point. Small things are a bit pressing for the time lag warning that need to deal with, and the price for "free" and "classic edition" is similar because usually filling federal return is also combining filling state return, unless filling federal return online but state return by paper.

My 7th year using TaxSlayer! Not normally an early adopter, I found my simple 1040 with itemized deductions easiest to use then, and still use it as life has gotten more complex. This year (2011 tax year) I had a new LLC and some non-resident income from another state. After wading through IRS's completion of the separate business return, there was no problem entering the result into TaxSlayer. The option to file the out-of-state individual return, vs the joint federal, saved me over $100. The program takes care of business, literally, and asks the right questions. My only caution to a new user is to go carefully through the interview questions one-at-a-time. The program takes care of all your answers. One more thing: I was using the premium edition, and submitted a question late Friday afternoon. The answer came back early SATURDAY morning. Great service!

Two years ago I was using H&R Block At Home ... got fed up with them because the disk would not work properly ... Last year I used Turbo Tax which was easy to use but cost me $129 ... This year I tried Tax Slayer and was pretty impressed and it cost me $35 for Fed and 2 State returns. I also had some questions on the 2 state returns and was contacted the next day. Jackie was very helpful and I just filed my Returns. I think I will utilize Tax Slayer again next year! The one area for improvement would be a program comparable to Turbo Tax's "It's Deductible" where a person can list their charitable contributions to Goodwill or like organizations and figure out what the item(s) are worth without guessing. I in fact used Turbo Tax's "It's Deductible” this year to figure these donations worth and had over $4,000 to write off. Thank you for a quality product and I'll use your service again next year.

This is my third year using TaxSlayer. I keep coming back because of the ease of use and the affordable pricing of the product. While I have never had to submit a "complex" Federal or State tax return, I can see by the prompting questions that if I ever need to, the support will be there. I will continue to use TaxSlayer because, to me, it offers the best return on investment.

Here is a perfect example of why I like using TaxSlayer. As I age, my memory and powers of observation are slowly slipping away from me. As an example of this, I just finished writing a positive review of the TaxSlayer product but failed to notice the "Select Your Rating" item under the box where I entered my review. Having a program like TaxSlayer that walks me through the filing of my Federal and State tax returns gives me a great deal of peace of mind that I have not forgotten or missed anything. My modest returns from both the IRS and the State are further evidence of this. A now, I am going to click on my 5-star rating before I forget to do that again. :-)

I have used TaxSlayer for several years now and have had great results. This year the IRS rejected my return 5 times for reasons that WERE correct on my return. After one call to the IRS to confirm my info was correct, and two calls to the TaxSlayer experts, whose suggestions worked!! I finally got it accepted! Hats off to you hard working TaxSlayers that are there to help us...even when the IRS can't. GREAT JOB....see you next year :) 5 STARS!!!

I have used taxslayer since 2008. In 2011 I started working as an independent advisor and wasn't sure if I would be able to use taxslayer or if I needed to go thru a local company. I'm happy to report I had no issues filing my return thru taxslayer. I love that it walked me thru each of the new steps for my business. I recommend taxslayer to everyone!!!!!

When I did my taxes yesterday with Taxslayer & the result was less than I had figured on paper, I realized that I had not included my educator's credit nor my energy efficient new door! Taxslayer's user friendly set up allowed me to go back & find these areas quickly, and the end result was a refund higher than I had figured--I will continue to use taxslayer AND I will continue to encourage my friends & family to use it--such a bargain! AND an excellent service!

Absolutely fantastic! This was the quickest I've ever filed my taxes and with half the frustration. And, I even got a bigger return compared to when I filed by myself. Thank you Sherri for suggesting Taxslayer; I will certainly share with my friends and family too!

I did a side by side return with Turbo Tax and Taxslayer not only saved me money on the front side it got me a larger state refund. I will admit that Turbo Tax has a more user friendly interview - Taxslayer does the job and for a lot less money! After all isn't that why we prepare our own taxes anyway?

Was recommended to Taxslayer by a friend in 2004 and have used them ever since. Have never had a problem, find it easy to use. Had to contact Taxslayer by phone this year with a question on something that was coming up as an error. They were very helpful and checked everything on my return and I was able to proceed and file it. Thank You.

Again, for at least 5 years, excellent, accurate, easy. I have used other systems with not as much success. I would give it a 5 star rating but that part of the review area doesn't seem to be working

Once again, Taxslayer has made filing our taxes soooo easy. I finally got our neighbor to try it this year,. I'm sure she was as pleased as we have been. This makes at least 5 years that we have used Taxslayer. We just don't even look at any other site. They're the best!

I spent many years involved in being a tax preparer and I spent up to $800.00 for programs to aid me in that endeavor. Last year at 73 I decided to let go of that obligation and I have found Taxslayer to be fast, efficient and very reasonable. I am hooked!!!

Wow thank you so much for help right through your organisation....even the boss helped. And after it being a frustration about not being able to use a foreign credit card to pay for the service .....in a twent minute conversation mostly about football he pushed it through and had an almost instanaeous reply acceptance from the IRS. Unbelievably easy to use, and less time consuming than other on line tax programs. I used Tax Slayer in 2010 for the first time, and I don't plan on using anything else from here on out. I love the fact that they support our military men and women.

This is the second year I have used Tax Slayer and am totally satisfied with the results! What used to take me hours now takes me less than an hour with Tax Slayer.

I have used Tax Slayer for the past 4 years now. Every year they improve their site to make things easier, and so you don't the best credit due. This year's update was AWESOME! It guided you step by step so you wouldn't miss a thing. It was easier than ever before. I highly recommend this site, and will refer family and friends to try it out as well!

This was my first time using tax Slayers and I thought it was very easy to use and walk me though the whole thing and it didn't cost me an arm and leg to use it. I was very happly iwith it and will use it agian.

We would like to say that everything was very simple to understand and very inexpensive. We did have a few questions and when we called our questions were answered quickly. All the people we talked to answered the phone in a timely fashion and were courteous and very informative. I would recommend this program.
