We use tax slayer to do our taxes, and it is really easy. We like it a lot better than any of the computer programs you have to buy, and it is a lot cheaper, too. It helped us calculate the losses from our home in 2008 and gave us instructions on what we could claim as losses, etc. We highly recommend it! And, it is free for military.

This is the best on line tax filing program I have found and it is only $14 to file your Federal and State returns. It's very easy to use. I have used it for about 4 years now and I wouldn't dream of using anything else!!

I think your forms are extremely well organized and easy to use. However I'd like to see more information in the help area about filling in div and int earnings. I guessed my way through, as usual.

I've used Taxslayer for many years with good results. Has improved greatly, but still needs some improvements. I got an extension for 2009 and when I attempted to access my return to edit and file it by Oct 15, it told me it wasn't available until Nov 1. Couldn't reach anyone at Taxslayer by phone but sent email that was answered within 24 hours and they made the necessary corrections to make my return available to complete. Panic led me to another IRS approved e-file site that was absolutley awful. H & R Block was too expensive. Gave it till the next evening and Taxslayer had it worked out and I was able to complete my return. Thank you Taxslayer, you saved a relationship with a previously satisfied customer that uses it to file many of my family's returns annually.

I was impressed w the ease to fill out forms and my daughter who is a CPA said it is the best service she has ever seen and was so impressed that it was free to her mom.

I love Taxslayer! I did not think that I could do this(it was my first try-with the help of a co-worker) but we worked it out and I got my return within a week-even though I had to make a minor change on the form. I paid only $14.00 bucks. I sure hope that it goes smoothly for me next year. I got a house in January and next year will be the first time that I will have to use the long form. In any case, I feel confident that taxslayer will walk me through the process with ease. It's about time something like Taxslayer came along to relieve those of us who really want to save money, time and headaches! Thanks again!

I liked Tax slayer for several years. I tried 3 different places last year and my return was different on each!! I spent $45 on another tax site but my return was $400 more!! Please make sure you double check your deductions!!! I would love to come back to TS!!!

I have used taxslayer for the past 6 years and would not ever use anything else. I can prepare my taxes myself and save money doing it. I will never pay the outrageous fees from the other tax companies any more.

i wish i would have did this sooner. it is easy and they walk you through everything and it saves you a lot of money. this year will be my third year doing my taxes with taxslayer. to me they are the best.

I calculated my 2009 taxes with TaxSlayer and got a lot less refund compared to HrBlock. dont use this site. Not reliable.

About 3 years ago I used a different on-line tax software company because I needed a special inheritance tax form schedule. (I had previously used Tax Slayer for about three years.) The total cost was over $120.00. The next year I compared their service with Tax Slayer. All I really needed was just the basic service. As I was comparing the two services I noticed the other software was showing a much lower return than Tax Slayer. However, if I would buy-up to their more expensive premium software they were sure they could get me a larger return. I was shocked they would use such an underhanded tactic just to get more money from me. I whole heartedly endorse Tax Slayer for their honesty and integrity. It you are not using Tax Slayer I would suggest you take the time to do a cost/benefit comparison.

I have been using TaxSlayer.com for five years. It only takes me about 5 or 10 min to file because it saves all my information from the previous years! It is fast, easy, and cheap! I always get my return within a week or two!

i live in a small tourist town where the local (H&R BLOCK) tax guy charges $120.00 just for a basic w-2. And the price goes way up from there! With TAX SLAYER I can file my w-2 and 1099 with all my expenses and deductions. And be able to easily and acurately do so. And it's only $14.90!!! And every year my form is acurate with a very fast rebate. And i even get ALOT more money back than with H&R! thank you TAXSLAYER.COM for your honest, best in the business service!!

This is the first year I have used TaxSlayer and it is great! I looked into other sites like TaxAct, TurboTax, and H&R Block, but TaxSlayer was by far the cheapest. With a discount code I only ended up paying around $3 to file everything! Thanks again TaxSlayer.

This is my 5th year to use TaxSlayer. It gets better every year. I was a TurboTax diehard until 5 years ago, when my return in TT just didn't look right. A friend suggested TaxSlayer and they got it right....my return DOUBLED. You guy's rock....and thanks for allowing our military brothers to file free!!!

I love Taxslayer.com ! It is the easiest and cheapest way to file your taxes. As long as you know how to use a computer, you can do it. They guide you through step -by-step to make sure everything is right. If its not correct, they tell you so don't worry. This is my 3rd year using them, and I will continue to. So stop paying hundreds of dollars to someone else, when you can keep that money and do it yourself! I paid approx $15 total to file my State and Federal return in about an hour. Try it! you will be so glad you did!

I have been using Taxslayer since 2003. It is easier than any other program I have used. To pay $15 to e-file state and federal returns is awesome. To pay $5 to access and print previous years' returns is also cheap; definitely cheaper than the IRS who charges $15. It is well worth the time and money.

I have used TaxSlayer.com for 6 years. I always file my State and Federal return in record time. Its so easy to pull your previous year data and speed through the current year changes. The price, ease of use, and refund speed cannot be compared anywhere else.

This will be my second year using taxslayer and very pleased except i chose the highest prepare amount by mistake. But it's all good, This cheapest I paid since I been able to file taxes than past years. All I can say is I will recommend this company to everybody I know and don't know.

I started using Tax Slayer in 2005 as a college student and have continues to use TaxSlayer beyond my collegiate career. I still find it is the best tax preparation site available. Customer support is helpful and polite, my refund is large and comes in a timely manner. I always recommend TaxSlayer to friends and family.

I have been using this for 3 years now and it is by far the easiest way to enter in all your trades for the year. I switched from HnR after they messed up my taxes one year and wanted me to come in to a local store and pay more for them to fix it even though I'd paid for the guarantee they were correct. I'll never go back to anyone else!

I recommend this to everyone I know and beyond. If you are looking for an INSTANT REFUND go pay someone $100 to $130 of your refund. If you can wait 10 to 14 days. you get every dime you are entitled to. (Minus $14.95) My second year with TAX-SLAYER and they live up to their name as stated! With the questionaires there is no question a maximum refund will be delivered. I am impressed 2 times and will be for life!

I LOVE TAXSLAYER! I have been using them for the past 4 years, previously using H&R Block. It is so easy to use & I love getting my money direct deposited quickly into my account without being charged an arm, a leg, & kidney. I even FINALLY convinced my mother (whom is computer illiterate) to use tax slayer. She had no problems with a little help from her beautiful daughter (; I also love having all my previous years taxes in one place so that if I need copies I have easy access to them without digging through years of unorganized paperwork. I sound like a commercial but I am really glad that I found taxslayer. Thank you for making my life easier! This is my favorite time of the year! A+++++

Been using tax slayer since I first joined the military in 2002 so it was free for me ..which is great. Love the company; fast and easy. However, they don't respond to questions very promptly. I would still tell others about the site.

I have used Tax Slayer for the last 5 years. Their system asks questions that cover pretty much any conceivable tax situation and gets you your refund for it. If you have used it before it pulls last years info to save you some time filling out the basics. It is also very affordable. I don't see any reason to switch to anyone else.

I've used Tax Slayer for the past 3 years. Before that I had used turbo tax (which was NOT user friendly) and before that was H&R block. I must say that I love this product. It's easy to use, hassle free and quick. Obviously the price is AWESOME! 10.00 to file Fed & State! Definantly not complaining. It's very innovative and makes tax time alot less stressful. I have used this site for 4 years now and i found it very easy to use. there are a couple issues that could use some improvement like access to previous returns and telephone support. this is the only way i have ever filed taxes andthis yeear got married and had a baby boy so i anticipated this yearto be difficult but with taxslayer it was just as easy with a few extra steps that where very well guided and checked. on top of everything it is free for military.

This year I appreciated most of the service I received using Taxslayer...however, I was frustrated that the "help" box to the right of the screen would at times block some of the information to fill out. I could not find a way to get rid of that box to see the data behind it...very frustrating. Still, I would use Taxslayer next year...just hope they fix this "glitch"

I've used tax slayer for 4 years now. I usually refer to a year that I filed with an accountant to make sure I fill everything out correctly, but it only cost me $12 instead of $75! Taxslayer walks you through step by step. It's easy and quick!

I have used Tax Slayer for the last 6 years and it is AWSOME. I am active duty military with more than 16 years of service and feel bad every tax season when filing with Tax Slayer as it is free for military. First time user and active duty military. Decided to try when told it was free for military and after being pushed around by TurboTax last year I couldn't pass up. Can't believe how easy and helpful TaxSlayer was. Every questionable entry I had was easily answered and only took 45 minutes to do file both federal and state return. Best part is IRS received and approved my return only 7 hours after submitting it through TaxSlayer! Highly recommended and definitely using from now on..also spreading the good name to others whom haven't filed yet.

This site is awesome. I've been using it for approximately 8 years now, and it's always been simple and easy to use. The price is very fair, and with direct deposit, it's almost as fast as getting a "rapid refund" from other establishments. I'll be using this site for as long as I can forsee into the future. 5 stars, year after year.

As a military wife, whose husband just returned home from a 13 month deployment to Afghanistan, I am both grateful and impressed with your service. This is my first year using taxslayer. I really like the program. It was thorough and asked all the right questions. The program had a good "flow" to it and was easy to follow. I worked for three years preparing taxes for soldiers and DA Civilians at a US Army volunteer tax center and I wish this was the program we were using!!

I have used taxslayer for 2 year. It is easy and well organized.I did my federal and state for 14.90. It takes about 30 minutes. I did the numbers for several different web sites.It checks and guides you ever step of the way. It is so easy. You will love it.

I have used tax slayer for the past four years, and this is the most cheapest and easy program to file your taxes, and the best part is that you have your money direct deposited within 14 days...I have had issues in the past with misplacing important documents, or losing tax document beyond your control you can sign on and print them for a small fee...I think this is the best way to file your taxes and its a lot cheaper than H&R block...

Terrific!! I had to use the complex filing method and it still only cost me $14.95 for both federal and state. I went to H&R Block for my first ever tax return in 2009 and was charged $250. Absolute crooks. LOVE Taxslayer.

This is the second year I've used TaxSLayer, and can attest to its ease of use and am happy with everything except one: printing a copy of my return. I can see why that's not possible until the IRS accepts the return (and you make that point in italics) but why have you not made it easier to get that printout by showing a link on your acceptance email?

I have completed my taxes for 5+ years on HR Block.com, this year I decided to try taxslayer, both sites ended up giving me the exact same figures, only TAXSLAYER saved me over $60 bucks! Thats right, HR Block was almost $100 with the 2 state returns I had to file. We had stock sales, moving expenses etc... very easy and I will be back next year.

Had never used an online service. Always paid someone to do my taxes on paper. Cost of that had become too expensive. Son in the military told me to try Taxslayer. I was basically hand-held through the whole process and, "Help" was always a click away. Where have I been all these years????? Tax-Slayer should perhaps have a secondary name of Tax-Saver (grief that is.) Do yourself a favor...go Taxslayer.

This was the first year that I decide to do my own taxes. I was a little scared until I went on line and practiced. Once I recieve my W-2. I completed my business taxes and personal taxes without a problem. I sayed money, directed deposited the taxes and had the fee taking out of my taxes and still will be returning the same amount of time as I did without other tax prep companies.

This is the second time I've used taxslayer.com in the past few years. And it's better, easier and more convenient. One of the best is being able to download my federal and STATE returns and all schedules in PDF before I efile. Most of these other companies make u pay for your state return before u are even able to see it. This is the best I have ever used and recommend to all. I used turbo tax last year and taxslayer this year. Because we dont make alot, turbotax was free (last year) but this year it was going to be almost $60 to do my return! For $14.90 I got my fed and state done and e-filed. I did have 1 small problem trying to find the correct place to enter a specific 1099 form, but I just wrote it in at the end. Very easy to use, I also liked that they email you promptly when your return is accepted! :)

I have been using TaxSlayer now for the fourth year and am very pleased with ease of making entries. All my previos information is entered in my returns and I only need to veridfy that it is correct. TaxSlayer is easy to use...I highly recommend it to everyone...I made one mistake this year...went to TaxSlayer from IRS.gov and had problems because of my AOL browser...went on Internet Explorer directly to website...did not know I had to pay when directly accessing rather than a free e-file from the IRS site...I paid. TaxSlayer then advised me that I could void my return, access site from IRS, and redo the return with a free e-file. Not worth the time and trouble. So, next year I will know to access through IRS...and use Explorer instead of AOL.

I just used Taxslayer and it was sent and accepted by the IRS. You fill in all the tax forms yourself, but they do let you know things you might not know and there are guides to help get you through the forms. If your return is rejected, they allow you to get into your return and edit it to correct errors and resend it which is very helpful.

I have been using Tax Slayer to file both Federal and State since 2007. I love how it walks me through everything. I hate that i can't print off a copy of my prior year returns without paying for it again. I think once you have filed, you should be able to print Federal and State any time after.

I've used TaxSlayer every year since I started doing my taxes online. I'm a careful person--I also use a second online program to check my work. Although those OTHER (big-name) programs have had calculation errors, TaxSlayer has NEVER made a mistake! And the cost difference is astounding. Those other programs CLAIM to be free, but they charge an arm and a leg for state returns. I tell everyone who will listen about TaxSlayer!

I've been using Tax Slayer for the past 4 years and I've never had a problem. It's super user friendly and super cheap! Only $14.95 for both federal and state taxes; you can't beat it. I used Turbo Tax for the last 2 years. This was the first year that I had problems with them. I saw Taxslayer on a commercial advertised on tv. So I decided to use it and realized that it is easier than Turbo tax and it allows you to access your summary even quicker. I love it more than Turbotax.

Every year I get someone new to use this site who is also amazed at how easy it is to do. This year I got my sister and her husband to use it. He was in Irag serving our country when my sister started to prepare their return. She was so excited at how cheap the price was and its ease of use. She was also very excited that when she got ready to pay for her filling she was told that it was free becase her husband was serving our country. It just meant so much to her. First time user. Found it OK for the Federal Return, however, the State Return (knowing that info for the State comes from Federal Return)was not to easy to get answers/ways to make corrections/changes to some of the item numbers that were not filled and should have been automatically calculated by the system. Returned responses to questioned asked were to automated like a computer answer the question instead of a real live support helper. It seems they did not review the State (Virginia) for proper calculations. Therefore, my State refund was not correct due to the form calculations, not my input. Easier/user friendly should be reviewed. this could be a good program, not totally dissatisfied with this program, just some minor reviews/corrections should be done as I'm sure each State's Tax Return forms are different. Do not want to rate at this time. thank you.

First time user. Not as user friendly as TurboTax, but more functionality available in the free federal filing than with TurboTax. Took a lot of clicks to get to a screen just to verify if I've entered the data or not. Would be nice to show what's been entered on the start screen.

Please be careful, evidently I clicked on the wrong taxslayer.com because I was charged 14.90 for software and 29.95 for bank processing fee. I plan to use them again next year, but I will make sure that I click on the correct one. Other than that, I thought it was easy to understand for the most part especially since I was a first time user.

I am having trouble with this years taxslayer. I have Windows 7 and AOL as my primary internet interface. When I try to use this venue my computer hangs up. I am now using Internet Exlorer. I am a bit discouraged with the 2010 version of TAXSLAYER. I have used TAXSLAYER for the past 5 years and have been very happy. I used Taxslayer for the first time this year when I selected it from the list of free services on the IRS website. It was great! I had a pretty simple return, but needed all the forms, etc., since IRS doesn't send them out any more. I'd done a preliminary rough draft on downloaded forms and had slaved over all the calculations. When I used your service it came up with the same EXACT calculations in a fraction of the time. I found Taxslayer very easy to use. I had already figured everything out from forms obtained at the library, so mostly used it to verify my calculations. I was pleased with the price, and found no extra charges to efile and have my refunds deposited into my bank account. I recommend it highly!

I was using TurboTax until 3 years ago when their price for a state return went up drastically, so I did a search to get a different preparer. To give TaxSlayer a shot I only did the state return here and the Fed with TT. I was so satisfied with the service that I became a fan of TaxSlayer, and have been doing both returns here ever since! I enjoyed using Tax Slayer to do my taxes. This year was my first year doing my taxes on my own, and I was a little uneasy about doing my taxes online, but Tax Slayer made the process a very easy, and comfortable for me. Previously used TurboTax and was very against online tax preparation as a result of how confusing it was. However, after reading the reviews on Tax Slayer I thought I would give it a try. It is very user friendly and provides the appropriate information without overloading. It only took me about 10 minutes to complete both federal and state taxes. As a bonus, it was only $15. Easy to use and affordable, I love it!

I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to print my return because my cable system uses Google Chrome and no where does your information indicate that your program and Chrome are not compatible. It took four or five trips to your support service before I was given a clue.

As a senior with adjusted gross income under $58.000 and accessing TaxSlayer from the irs.gov freefile web site, filing my fairly complex federal return was totally free. Although TaxSlayer could have also filed my Colorado state return, it would have cost $4.95 and I was able to file that free separately at the Colorado Netfile web site. TaxSlayer was easy to use and provided all of the forms needed for my return. The only problem I had was where to enter my Private Activity Bond (PAB) interest but an inquiry to the TaxSlayer help service produced the answer to my question within 24 hours. After e-filing my return, TaxSlayer informed me within 24 hours that my return was accepted by the IRS. I will continue to use TaxSlayer for my federal returns in future years with its efficient, user-friendly tax preparation software. For a hard copy of all of the forms and worksheets in your return, you need to create the PDF file and print it before submitting your return for e-filing.

I started with another on-line tax company, but at the end of the form it wanted me to sign my name and it didnt really say what I was signing for. Needless to say, I didnt go thru with that one! This is the first time that I used the internet to file my taxes. It was quicker and easier than the old way. Taxslayer filled in a lot of the stuff automatically, and with one item I thought I didn't qualify, but after a prompt email reply from a taxslayer expert, I found out that I really did qualify! Just catching up with the times and E-filed with TaxSlayer this year. Just fill in your information and a "Refund Amount" is calculated for you. Super price compared to other online services. Only suggestions could be showing where your "refund" comes from, ie..a Schedule M and prompts for first time E-filers how to easily visit the IRS "Request an Electronic Filing PIN" web site and other details to smooth out first time filings.

have used TaxSlayer since 2008; however when I started return on March 9, I used link to IRS to check on item and could not get back into site to finish return. I tried several days but no luck. I decided to go to a different company to start over but then received email from T/S to finish. I signed in and was able to complete return and efile. I don't know why I had problem but it was very frustrating, since there were no problems at all the other 2 yrs. so other than the sign-in problem this yr, I have been happy with T/S and will use next yr.

This is second year for Taxslayer Free. In general I was satisfied; but did get confused on the page asking if I wanted to lock in information from last year; employer etc. I punched yes, yes, yes and instead was changing yes to no. Little boxes with checks would have been better. I'm used to Facebook 'Like' I guess. Then I couldn't find that page to correct when I realized I did it backwards. Also I had a little trouble bringing up retirement income form. I thought I was finished, but a credit showed up initiated by the software and I had to correct that before IRS accepted the return and I was confused doing this. Otherwise I was guided though pretty well.

I have been using Taxslayer for 5 years, and the software gets better every year. I tried turbotax and some of the others initially, but found Taxslayer easiest to use. I like the quick answers they give you in Support, and the useful dialog as you fill out your forms. They also check for errors, and remind you of deductions you may be eligible to take. My return was accepted in less than 24 hours by the IRS. One improvement I would like is: having longer time per session, so i don't have to keep signing in.

This is the first time I've ever e-filed before and I had to file a federal and also in two states. They were entered and sent within 30 minutes. So for ease of use Taxslayer deserves a 5. My first attempt to e-file was of course rejected due to my own mis-information and within a minute after it was rejected. I had corrected the problem and re-submitted the forms so for maintenance issues and resubmitting I rate Taxslayer a 5. Now I noticed within 48 hours my federal and one state showed accepted within 2-days. One state however did not ever show as accepted for a week so I contacted Taxslayer's customer support who responded immediately to my email requesting they investigate why my State tax office never accepted my return. So they get 5 stars for quick response. I will however share a suggestion they provide some sort of alert process that makes you aware if another state is having e-file/notification acceptance issues. All in all though I'm a very happy Taxslayer

Outstanding in all aspects. However, the phone number field was insufficient for those of us with foreign addresses. In order to successfully fill the field, I had to enter my foreign city code in the area code block, then my seven-digit cell phone number. There was no space for the three-digit country code. I suggest an open block sufficient to accommodate all 16 characters of my foreign phone number (three-digit country code, three-digit city code, seven-digit phone number).

I have been using taxslayer since 2007 and it is great. It gives detailed descriptions of every function in order for the user to know if they have information to add to a section for adjustments and/or deductions that you normally would not think to claim. I really love the automated Refund calculator that updates as you add your information. The system saves previous tax information so you do not have to re-enter it every year. It is on the web so it is easy to access from anywhere. Lastly, since I am in the military the cost to use the service is virtually free!

Excellent program. But it timed out witghout prior notice while I was trying to fing out what block 14 code in the W-2 meant. Still don't know why $$ were in block 14 of the W-2. When I clicked on the side comment I would get a blank screen then when I did it again I got the explanation but then it disappeared.

It was impossible to print out my return following the directions, despite having the up-to-date software the site says I need - IMPOSSIBLE! Otherwise, this was a pleasure to use.

This is the first year the IRS did not mail me a 1040A and I found that, as an overseas resident, Taxslayer was the only e-option available. This first time Taxslayer took me longer than the manual method, my return being simple, but next year should be much, much quicker. Altogether excellent except for the inability to input a non-USA/Canada telephone number.

I have been using tax slayer for 2 years now and am very happy with it. I was recommended to check H&R Block and they wanted 150 because for one of my self-employed Jobs. Tax slayer is way cheaper and way nicer to work with, plus usually get a bigger return!

I have used Tax Slayer since 2005 and I have to say that the service has only gotten better and the price has remained very low. Compared to H&R Block who wanted $114 I saved almost $100 using Tax Slayer and my refund was much larger.

I have used Taxslayer for several years and I love it. I used to do my children's for them and now they use Taxslayer for themselves. We are returning customers. I have even checked the others who advertise "free" and it costs twice as much for theirs.

I've used Tax Slayer for the past 5 or 6 years and it's great. They walk you through each step and check to make sure all information is understood and correct. It's easy and I'd rather do that then go to an H&R Block when they're only crash course accountants. Thanks Tax Slayer.

I'm a new user and my overall experience was good. I did have difficulty figuring out how to go from one section to another at times. It is not very intuitive. The help staff is very good, except when I asked questions about my state return. Usually they said to contact the state. Not helpful! I will likely try Taxslayer again.

Very good overall.One of the best I've used but it's not perfect. I missed listing some info at one point and did't get a hint until I got to the end, then took me awhile to figure it out and correct it. So next time I'll go slower.

AMAZINGLY EASY! I dreaded getting started but got through it in no time. My only difficulty was figuring out the tax reporting forms I received and can only hope I did not miss anything important. Did not try saving it online but simply printed it. You can be sure I will use TaxSlayer again next year!

Easy to use! I do have a suggestion though. If TaxSlayer would make this "fool proof" with a WIZARD who took you through every question and every form.... Just like you are talking to a 5 year old... That would be superb!

We have been with Tax Slayer for several yrs now, and find them to have all the forms we need n we also find them to be lower in price than several other companies...this helps tremendously due to our fixed incomes......thank you Tax Slayer :)

I found this process very simple and clear and I didn't get bogged down with having to read a lot of info that didn't pertain to my situation. I did have the oportunity to as items were listed with brief descriptions of what they were about. But I had a choice which was nice. I thank my friend Heather for recommending this site to me.

I have been using Taxslayer since the IRS started taking online returns. I do not like this year's version. Years past there were prompts to the forms I needed. This year I had to take a lot of time to seek out the forms. And I am still not sure that I got them all.

I've been with TaxSlyer for seven years now & do love their service. I had a problem with one of the forms we needed for veterans & they were able to update their system twice to get this form up a running correct. They were quick to get this done so I could efile before the due date. I will be returning to TaxSlyer for years to come.

I was very pleased with how easy TaxSlayer was to use. I was able to have the program calculate and compare deductions so that I could choose rather to itemized or take the standard deduction. I haver used other programs in the past, but this one gave me more options and allowed me to view the information or edit it at any any time. I appreciate the emails that kept me informed about the status of my tax return once it was submitted. The cost was very reasonable as well.

Very pleased! I was a long-time TurboTax, but this was my first year using TaxSlayer. I must say that TaxSlayer is just as good as TurboTax and a much better value! I have also used H&R Block, which I'll never do again as they cost too much to have someone else enter the data. I will be using TaxSlayer again next year! Keep up the great work TaxSlayer team!!!

I give 4 Stars so mgt.@ Taxslayer doesn't become complacent.They deserve 6 STARS after what I've gone thru this week with 3 of the "Top rated" and advertised services. I want to save $,but to get it done accurately& easily,it is not worth worrying about the least cost service.After 3 days with Taxact Online,2 days with Turbotax,1/2 day with H&R Block, I finished my complicated return with ease at Taxslayer. After many attempts to enter info with Turbotax,I asked "Where is my Capital Gains and Sched F forms"? Their response: "the program will "Crash" unless you do the entries manually. H&R Block advised me to contact one of their local tax professionals because my taxes were too difficult to do online. Taxact lost info everytime I would log in & out. I finally realized I had 3 returns in progress. . After 20+attempts and losing info for 3 days, I quit. I found Taxslayer after searching "Top Ten" programs this am and filed this pm 4/18/11. Had to condense this to get most of it entered.
